About Us
Hi my name is Kim and I am the owner of Tiddlywinks. I wanted to share why I decided to open a toy store in Bel Air.
My husband and I moved to Bel Air right after we got married eleven years ago. We have two kids, a son who is eight and a daughter who is three. Our wonderful life hit a bump in the road when we realized something wasn’t quite right with our daughter’s development when she was seven months old. She has a neurological condition that affects her speech, gross motor & fine motor skills. We quickly got her the help she needed with lots of early intervention therapy. During these therapy sessions my eyes were opened to the way toys are used to help children learn. During my son's typical development, I had seen toys as entertainment. I quickly realized that toys are a child's first tool for learning. Thanks mostly to her wonderful therapists who have spent many hours playing with her, today our daughter is thriving.

My family loves living here in Bel Air, so it made sense to open my store on Main Street and bring a locally owned and operated toy store to the area.
